Do you glue?

Glue like I do?

Some people duct tape, I glue. i glue everything. My philosphy is for everything there is a glue and for every glue there is a purpose. Yesterday I glued (wood glue, very strong. a very useful glue.) my 15+ year old end table back together. (It started life as a partical board desk. It lived this happy existance for 10 years. Five years ago due to space requirements, we detached it from the main desk and it was reincarnated as an end table. It's falling apart though. It's about ready for it's third incarnation as firewood. ) I glued (Tacky Glue, Is there any more useful glue? )dd's board book she pulled apart. I glued (Tacky Glue) a doorknob hanger thing my older dd made back together. I glued some more stuff, but I can't remember what it was. I'm currently looking for a glue that works on plastic. I have to glue the potty chair seat back together.

Are you a gluer too? Any suggestions on a good plastic glue? One that does not send the user into an alternate reality if inhaled. Can you tell I haven't had any sleep?

Re: Do you glue?

My night stand is the drawer part of an old desk, Lenora! It also has been flued many, many times!

Super Glue (even the cheap brands) works great on plastics.

I glue stuff all the time. It irritates the crap out of Rick. He always promised to fix things, then forgets about it. Then he gets upset when I glue something to fix it. Hey, I say if it works, then leave me alone!

I glued the shelf in the fridge that was cracked.
I glued the kids plastic wagon (one of the really big ones) so no one would get pinched on it.
I glued a glass vase that a piece broke off of. Did a coffee cup, too.

Heck, half the things in my house are glued, duct taped or held together with zip strips!

I like glue too.

E6000 is supposed to be awesome - but you HAVE to ue it in a well ventalated area.

I have a tube just haven't busted it open yet as I have a million other things going right now, but some girls I chat with swear by it.

Re: Do you glue?

I gorilla glued the weather strip back inside the door of my car the other day. It was at the point that it flopped down every time you opened the car door and ocasionally would get shut back like that and dangle as I drove down the road... quite annoying.
