Re: Meal plan - weekly
I don't do this but am thinking about starting a meal plan. It will eliminate the last minute dinner decision, help me budget for groceries better and hopefully help with time management since I'll be starting school soon.

I don't. We really need to start doing it though. I plan my meal about 30 minutes before we all want to eat - so by the time its ready no one is hungry caue we've all munched on something else.

I don't actually make a meal plan, but I have a general idea what I am going to be making during the week. It depends on what I got at the store that week or what's in the freezer/fridge. I have a running inventory in my head, so I'm pretty good about knowing what's available to fix.I should probably start doing this, tho. Now that it is up to Rick to cook dinner almost every night (since I'm usually asleep), it would make things alot easier on him.

Re: Meal plan - weekly
Yep, and then I add one more bonus meal, so when one day comes and I see it's burgers and the last thing I want is that, I have already shopped with that bonus meal in mind and we can just have that. It saves a lot of $$ when you have the entire week planned and you don't keep stopping at the store...
