Hello from Tucson, Arizona

Hello! My name is Elizabeth. I am mother to a seven year old boy, Sage, and I am married to Ian. We are TTC number 2, but I had a surprise cardiologist referral during my preconception appointment, and so everything is up in the air until I can figure out what I have to do long term.

I look forward to learning more and making new friends here!

Thank you, Angie. When I met my husband I told him if I ever had a boy, his name would be Sage, LOL. I just love that name so much and I knew I would have a little boy one day. I don't even know where I heard it for the first time, but it does fit him well! He is an impish little fellow with a brilliant sense of humor!

I should probably mention that I am a SAHM for the last year and a half, my son has mild/moderate ADD and medication isn't an option for him, so I spend two full days a week in his classroom keeping up with what is going on, grading papers, and slyly watching him. Then we pick up at home with what he didn't complete in class due to inattention. I spend a lot of time and energy ensuring that his education is seamless, and so far, it has worked great. He will be in third grade this year and he really took the initiative at the end of second grade to complete his work on time and stay on task, so it will make life smoother for both of us. Particularly as I was blindsided by being voted in to secretary of the PTA for next school year.

I really hope that I can convince the cardiologist to hold off on prescribing beta blockers for my recently diagnosed cardiac issues so I can have another baby. There are some other issues with conceiving too, but I am going to bomb the TTC threads with my posts anyway, LOL.
