Father's Day Plans

Getting ready to take the kids shopping to pick up some gifts for Rick. He wants the new Warhammer 40K and regular Warhammer Daemon codexes (don't ask - it's a gaming thing). He also mentioned a computer game that he wants. I will see about that - if I can find it. I wnat to get him "The Bucket List" - it sounds like a hilarious movie and I just love Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson.

Tomorrow Rick is thinking about going gaming and maybe taking Drew with him. It's an all day thing. If that's what he wants to do, it's fine by me. Since I have to work Sunday night, we will be having his Father's Day dinner on Saturday. He wants steak, baked potatoes and sauteed mushroom. I can do that!

So, what are your plans for Father's Day?

Dinner Sunday is his fave - Stuffed Peppers and --I came across a quick n/ easy receipe for Beer Bread, so I'll make that to go with

Hmmmm.... let's see... I'm workin' 12 hrs, so Daddy gets a fun-filled day with the Chitlin's while Mommy works!! Happy Father's Day TO ME!!!

Oh yeah, and he is getting a card and probably dinner out Saturday night since we can't do anything Sunday. I'm not that heartless....

I got my dh this watch: http://cgi.ebay.com/CLIP-WATCH-w-nig...QQcmdZViewItem
I spent more than $2 on it, but it wasn't expensive. But it's very him and he likes it. I didn't have a lot of money to spend this year. I think dh plans to work on his product lines tonight.

Re: Father's Day Plans

he kids made those cement stepping stones. We do them every other year for Father's Day, so it was easy this year. Dinner and then I went to my parents' with the kids and Billy went to check on his mom since this is the 1st Fathers Day without Billy's dad...

Re: Father's Day Plans

We did church, huffled some product since we were out of fries, hung out at the ils, I went to work at 4, Kev joined me at 6 and the girls stayed with fil & mil all night since I had 2 emps not show up. (one we fired the day before so we knew about that one) Then we picked the girls up about 10:30 and went home to bed.

Rick and I went out to brunch on Sunday and then to see Indiana Jones. No kids until about 7pm that night - he said it was the nicest Father's Day ever!
