OOOODamn ! I camethisclose to going into "Mommy" mode while answering a call ! The caller asked for one of our guys, I stick him on hold, and then looked to see what was up. R. was on another call, so I buzzed back into the line, and Mr Wonderful on the other end WOULD.NOT.STOP.TALKING to a person on his end...I alllllmost told him you need to shut up and pay attention when YOU"RE the one placing the call !!

I SO know what you mean!

I work in a 'call center' type atmosphere answering calls from pharmacies about prescriptions processing for workers comp claims, and I've had a few mommy moments on the phone!

I hate it when people do that to me. It's one thing if it is a mom yelling at her kids or answering a quick question, but when it's one adult having a whole conversation with another... That really gets on my nerves.
