Re: Lord help us all..........
I have a feeling there are going to be some problems (racial related) if Obama wins. I hope he doesn't turn out to be another Al Sharpton. I'm not prejudice but there are some black people who abuse the racial card too much and get into their pity parties and whine. Um...slavery days are over so they need to get over it! Yes, there are people who unfortunately are prejudice which is very wrong, but sometimes whining about being a certain race can make things worse.I'm voting for McCain because his morals are more in line with my morals...Obama believes in some things I don't agree with. Plus, he goes to a church that only accepts black people...so I find that hypocritical.

I see your point. But Obama should have no slavery issues. None of his ancestors were ever enslaved. His dad is from Africa. I have more slave ancestors than he does.

It wasn't just the Europeans that enslaved Africans, it was other Africans, supposedly anyway, and long before the Europeans did their damage. Weird, huh?

True. As far as his ancestors are concerned, they were not enslaved in the US or by Americans. I have no idea if his African ancestors were enslaved by their fellow Africans.

OMG, this man talks in circles and says absolutely nothing that anyone with a working mind wants to hear.Liz is right - why does he only mention black fathers? I think ALL fathers need to be involved in the lives of their children. What, does he think black men have the corner on being deadbeat dads? Give me a break!

The church allows white members, they just preach the "Black Liberation Theology" which may explain why there aren't a lot of white people there. I have seen tapes of sermons on tv and there were some white people there. Of course, with all his pastor screams about "the white man", I'm not sure why those white people attend....
