How have your kids been keeping busy this summer?

I've been taking my 2 boys to the park in the afternoons. We're close enough to walk to it within 15 minutes and it lets them get out a lot of their built up energy.

I plan on getting them their library card sometime this week so that they can check different books and possibly movies out of the public library. I also try to rent them at least one movie from Blockbuster online a week.

So far they aren't complaining that they're bored....

They're fighting. With me or with each other, it doesn't matter.

Yup. Got that here too. Less of it now that Lys started Summer School. We spend the afternoon outside.

Lots of swimming, they did a basketball camp last week, and time on the Wii...

Brandon's in day camp for a few weeks. The girls play outside with their friends and take Kieran out for awhile as well.

They also check out movies from the library to watch when it's too hot outside.

PJ and Emmie are in summer camp for 8 weeks at their school. They are also taking karate lessons 3 times a week and they just finished up their first year of dance on Saturday.
We are very busy, but they are having fun, so that is all that matters.

Money is too tight to put Ally into a day camp this year, but we have been going to the pool, playing games,watching movies, etc. Plus, she has been playing with all ther friends. Drew spends half the day at summer school. The rest he is either on the computer, on the phone or at a friends house. They are fighting constantly, as usual. But if I keep them busy enough, maybe they won't have the energy to argue! Right now they are cleaning their rooms. Told them if they got them all clened up, we would spend the whole day at the pool on Friday.
