Hello. Don't let the title of my thread fool you,
I don't have a Texas accent even though I was born and raised here.
My name is Sandra and I have been a member of Baby U since July 2001.
I'm 43 years young and the mother to two boys Michael, age eight
and Matthew, age two. Married for almost 10 years to Timothy Lee
(orginally from Indiana). We met here in San Antonio (where we currently live).
Most of you here have been there from almost the beginning of my
journey as a special needs parent. From Michael's diagnosis at age
1 1/2 which resulted in 2 skull reconstuctive surgeries at age 2.
I can remember calling Tara from the waiting room with news of
Michael's surgery. Many of you read as I shared my journey
as a homeschooling parent and I am happy that I shared that
part of my life here.
You were also there when I announced my pregnancy in March 2005.
Prayed for me while I was in the hospital at 4 weeks pregnant and
prayed for Michael when he had three surgeries following my release
from my one week hospital stay. You then celebrated with me when
my pregnancy resulted in Matthew's birth.
In all of the years I have been here, I have always felt your love
and prayers through the rough times and best of times. And now
expecting our third child, it is only fitting that you be a part of that
too. Many of you have been like family to me here and
it is great to be home...
Someone hand me a tissue now...

It's so great to see the old clan coming home.
Hello again my fellow Preemie, special needs child mom!

I have missed your kind heart and your wisdom.
I missed being here and I need to be here especially now. I am so happy to see familiar "faces" and I am looking forward to meet the newest members here too!
and then I got pregnant!
That happened before when I got pregnant with Matthew! So what is it with my wieght loss and pregnancies?
