Selling formula?

Thread Starter
I have a couple of cans of formula that I can't use because they changed Sammy's to a different brand. And I can't find the receipt so I can't take it back to exchange it. Would you consider putting something like this on Craigslist to see if you could just get a few dollars for it? Or would you try to give it away or donate it?

Re: Selling formula?

If the money is more important than the possible tax write-off, I'd try and sell it on Craigslist (or eBay) just to try and get part of the money back. Otherwise, you could always check with your local hospital and ask if they know of somewhere you could donate it.

Re: Selling formula?

I've donated formula to the food bank before. But since I got it with WIC I didn't feel right trying to sell it. (This was also back when Angela was a baby & the then-in-laws basically supported us and we really didn't "need" the money.)
