This is exciting and fun, huh?

One of the neighbor girls came over this afternoon. The girls watched a little of Surf's Up. Then they did a little dinasour educational stuff, played some educational computer games on dinasours and reading, then they rounded it off doing a craft with fun foam and glitter glue. This is the massive excitment at my house all the kids are interested in coming over for. Just a regular day for us. It doesn't seem that exciting to me.

LOL it's normal stuff here too. I think families normally rely on schools to enterntain their children with arts and crafts..
the TV babysits most kids these days LOL

I think you are right, Genie. But the schools don't do much in the line of arts and crafts anymore either. I don't remember if they did when I was a kid. We did crafts in Girl Scouts and Sunday School a lot.

My mom always did alot of crafts with us and everyone always loved coming over to do them with us. She did ballet with all the girls, too. Then there was my best friends house - her dad did scary movies every Sat afternoon (old black and white movies). Seems like there was something idfferent at everyone's house, so all the kids just rotated around! LOL!
