Sleeping without Waking for a Bottle

Karissa is now 7 months old, and I'd almost guarantee that she would sleep through the night at this point, except she still wakes in the middle of the night for that one bottle!

Do you guys have any tips on how to ween her from this? I don't want to stuff her to death before she goes to sleep. And I've tried just soothing her back to sleep in the middle of the night without a bottle. ...which results in holy terror screaming! Any thoughts?

Kids sleep through the night at different rates. My oldest didn't until she was four. The youngest did almost immediately. I never found a way to get them to sleep through the night when nature was waking them up.

Some will give you tips that worked for them but I say, especially at only 7 months, just give her the bottle and be thankful that it's only one time a night! My kids slept through the night at different ages, one not until she was 22 months old. It's one of those things we as parents must deal with. We'll catch up on our sleep eventually!

Oh trust me. I'm thankful that that is it! I'm super lucky even. My boyfriend is the one that get's up and feeds her. He's the stay at home dad and I go to work. I'm just trying to ease his waking nights... But we are thankful... Trust me!

i found that if i gave my ds some cereal an hour before bedtime and just a small drink but not a full bottle.....

but all kids are different...

I agree...all kids sleep differently. Its basically luck, IMO. LOL
