He is BACK!!

And it has been AMAZING!!

The kids were so happy to see him. It was so great to watch him walk up to us and just seeing him was so amazing!!

We spent all day getting the house ready for him and running aound like cazy people!!I bought him roses and balloons because he got home on his birthday!!

I was so exited to see him so I forgot to say happy birthday, but he very kindly reminded me!

He landed and about 8:00 pm and we were home having a beer at 9:00! No delays at all, it was great!!

He had 4 days off and his family came from TX.You know I LOVE THEM

So that went ok I guess. All that matters is he is back!! and He won't have to go for a while!! The has been OH MY GOD!!!!! My husband Worked out for 8 months straight 7 days a week for 4 hours a day!! It has been great!! We have been at it like bunnies after the kids go to bed!! So its been Wonderful!! He is adjusting welll! took about a week for him to get used to the time change and te kids took to him right away!! The only odd thing he has done is stand in the linen closet and sniff the towels. He said the smell so good to him. and he constantly watches me sleep. That got anoying quick!!

That is so great that he is back home to you and your family, safe and sound! I'm glad he's adjusting well to being back and that you are all having such a terrific time together.

Please tell your DH how proud I am of him and that I thank him for all he does for our country!

I can SO relate. Everything "over there" smells like dirt and nastiness. You just can't get away from it!

Also, is he having a hard time following the speed limit and driving "properly"? I had a hard time with that after driving over there. They drive like maniacs and seriously the only way to fit in and go with the flow is to drive like them.

Again, CONGRATS on having your hubby back.
OMG Liz it was the opposite for him!! On the way home he said I was driving to fast but I was going 55 in a 75 zone!! It was so funny!!
