Have you started your Christmas shopping/crafting yet?

Dh is giving everyone products he has made. I am seriously thinking of getting dd the Star Wars Leapster game. Money is really tight this year, so I am starting now looking at the sales. We have a set of Tinker Toys we bought a long time ago dd might be old enough for. I was thinking of something like this for Cara: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...ductId=2267334

My girls love to build. They build all day long. Blocks and mega blocks are some of the best toy investments we ever made.

I have a few things. I always work on birthdays first since they are leading up to Christmas. I pretty much have those done and some things that I bought on clearance for Christmas as well. This year I will only be buying for the children due to lack of $$ so it shouldn't be too difficult. Although I do hafta buy my SO something and I have absolutely NO CLUE as to what to get a man that has absolutely EVERYTHING!

Nope, haven't started but I really should. The problem is they always want those last minute BIG items that the stores start advertising late so we all rush around and can't find them anywhere..lol. So I'll have to get the majority of it and wait and see what the big toys/Wii games are going to be this year.

Nope...haven't started my Christmas shopping yet. I always wait for my nieces and nephews to get a Christmas list started and then I'll start buying. They procrastinated last year..hopefully they won't do that this year because I like to spread my Christmas shopping out some.

I'm making a scrapbook for my sister and my bro (in GA)...not making one for my other bro. He doesn't deserve it after the way he and his witchy wife treated me and my other siblings!!

Not sure what to get Steve. He never has any ideas. Think I'll start asking him so I won't be buying for him at the last minute...if he doesn't give me any ideas it will be just a hodge podge of stuff that I find between now and Christmas.

havent started but i do know what im planning on getting them this year. this year im just going to do one big gift for both of them and than just get them a few clothes. Raymond wants his Nintendo DS and Destiny, we want to get her a dollhouse. http://www.target.com/Kidkraft-KidKr...llhouse&page=1 she has the dollhouse bookshelf already but im not sure.. just an idea..

im with Krista.. i have to be ready for Raymond bday before Xmas..

Both of the kids are getting new bikes the Xmas. And since I will have the other 2 kids as well, they will be getting bikes, too. Now I just have to figure out how to hide 4 bikes without the kids finding out! LOL!

we picked up a set of junior golf clubs a couple of weeks ago, they are hiding at my parents house!

This post prompted me to call my sister and brother and ask them to tell the kids to start thinking about what they want for Christmas. My sister said Mikayla already has her list started. I told her that's good.

My sister asked me if we are doing any couple gifts and I said I don't know. We could if she wanted to. I asked my bro and he said he liked the cookie exchange we did last year...so we'll probably just do that again.

I vote on the Wii too! They are getting easier to find so if you do see one I would pick it up if you can. Who knows what it will be like at Christmas again since it is easier to find. Christian got one for his birthday this year and the rest of us love it too. I almost feel like I should go get him something else for his bday...lol

Wendy, i have to convince Dh that Logan really needs the Wii!

he works in the TV industry and is not too keen on how many people throw their controlers into tv's

i figure since i want to play it on the projector that even if i do throw it, it shouldn't hurt anything

they are super hard to find here in town right now... they are gone as soon as they come into any of our stores... small town living .....

My kids are good at keeping the straps around the wrist. I remember the first time Kel played it, she threw the controller up into the ceiling fan while she was bowling...LOL

Really, I think it is one of the better game systems because you don't sit and stare. Most of the games you have to move in some way. Although, Christian does use his Wii to play his old gamecube games too so he still has a few moments of non movement.

Yes. I actually got some freebie things that I thought my parents might like. And I picked up some half price and clearance items this week since they had good sales at Kohl's.

thanks grace!! yeah im sure she will. we love the Wii too. we got ours about a month ago. they go fast!! i had to call around serveral Target stores to see if they had them available. my advice for the Wii Seekers.. get it NOW!! haha
