My mom husband just told her this week that he wanted out and no longer wanted to be with her. she was in a nervous wreck this week, crying and not understanding why. he tells her alot has to do with her attitudewhen its not just her, its him too. he brings her down constantly telling her shes fat, shes lazy etc.. the works... she got implants this year and hes not a big fan of them. i dont know.. so this past weeks shes been in this emotional rollercoaster.. i feel bad for her. i tell her to let him go. if this is what he wants, than let it be. no guy especially your husband should ever disrespect or say the things he does to his wife. i told her you dont need him, i know the years matter but they are two completely different ppl. im so glad her best friend came to visit her today. hes a guy and omg his words of wisdom made her felt better. i just want to give her strength and hope, she is my mom and i just wannna see the right words to her.

I'm glad you're there for her. That must be tough.

One of these days, I look to be in your shoes with my sister. You're doing all you can.

One thing I do when I don't know what to do is I just ask the person, What can I do to help you through this or to make this easier for you? A lot of times, they will say they don't know or that there is nothing you can do, and when that happens, you just do what you can, what you already know to do because you have to try. I am so sorry your mom is going through this, but it is so good that you are there for her.

It sounds like he emotionally abused her. She'll be better off without him.

So sorry to hear about your mom. I believe you're doing all you can right now to comfort her and yourself as well. My advice is to continue praying. Pray with her. No one can understand the situation a lot better than Him.
