Kids starting Kindergarten this year?

Anyone have kids starting kindy this year?

My baby starts kindy this year. I'm not sad right now but I'm sure that day I will be. She was at the school all the time last year so I know she will be comfortable there. She already waltzes in like she owns the joint...lol It makes it easier that she is just SO excited plus Christian is there to help her with the bus, getting to her room and her locker. When christian started, I was a nervous wreck because he was my first and he had no one to help him.

PJ and Emmie are in Kindergarten this year, too. They went to PreK-4 last year, so I'm not nervous, although I am sure that I will still walk them to class every morning like I did last year.

Kate is homeschooled, but if she were going to public school, she would be starting this year.

Emily is starting Kindergarten this year. She will attend the same school she has been going to. She is so excited. I am not excited. I love having her here with me all summer, but she LOVES school!

Ladies, I just can't believe that your girls are starting kindergarten this year! That is so crazy! Ms. Payton will be starting next fall. One more year of preschool/daycare. I can't believe how fast the time goes......

Jonas is starting kindergarten this year. He is so excited. It's easier on me since he's the second one and I've already been through this once.

Kelsey did preschool for the last 2 years but it was a different school that I took her too and walked her to her room. This is her first time getting on the bus and riding. That is where I will be the most nervous....because I won't be able to make sure she gets on the right bus when school ends at 3:00. (there are 8 buses at the school)

PJ and Emmie having to ride a bus would have me a nervous wreck!
There are a few busses from the public school that goes to their school, but I don't think that they have a stop near our house.

Logan starts this fall as well!

Amazing how fast the time flys ey?

we get to either drive logan or drop him off at after/before school care

Nate will be starting kindergarten too... He's so excited! He loves school and went to preschool for about 1 1/2 years.... but i'm a little sad and nervous for him especially since he has his speech problems.

Awww!!!! I remember when my neices and nephews were that age and started kindergarten. Now I've got a nephew who is starting middle school (man, I feel old!!! )

My oldest niece will be a teacher's aide for a kindergarten class up in Hannibal, MO where she just recently moved. That's good they have teacher's aides for Kindergarten (I thought they only had them for other grades).

Krista...I can't believe Peyton will be starting K soon!!!! It seems that only yesterday she was just born!!

I was terrified when Christian started kindy for the same reason. I kept thinking kids will make fun of him. Or they won't be able to understand him and get frustrated with him. But the kids love him. He has no shortage of friends. In fact, this year he has spent every other day with a little boy. Every day Gabe calls to talk to him....lol.

Jesse, my baby, starts this year too! He gets to ride the bus with his big brothers so that isn't to scary for me. He is so excited and can't wait....he already picked out his first day out fit...

Samantha starts Kindergarten this fall too... She has to ride the same bus that high school kids do. I think it will be okay, Tessa rides the bus already, and my babysitter will be on the bus too.
Little nervous about the bus, and of course I will drive her the first day.

WOW! So many are starting kindy this year! Where has the time gone?

I was nervous last year because Ally desperately wanted to ride the bus and I wanted to drive her. Drew didn't ride until he was in 3rd grade - yeah, I'm a bit overprotective. But Ally did fine and loved it. This year she says she wants to ride the bus home and have me drive her to school in the morning. Can't have it both ways, chicky babe!

Nick missed the cut off date so he starts next year. I will be sending him to preschool sometime this year to help him get used to the idea.

Aaron is in Kindergarten this fall too. It is only from 8:20-12:30 so we have all afternoon to do stuff. Plus I am the teacher's assistant so I will be on campus one day a week. I think he is looking forward to it. He really liked preschool last year.

Emily will go M, T, Th, F 9 to 1 and Wed 9 to 12, so we have afternoons, too. I like that.
