I saved a bunch of old cereal boxes and 2 days ago, Ally and I made a town out of them. You can cut the boxes to any size and decorate them however you want. I colored mine, but Ally wrapped hers in wrapping paper and construction paper. I showed her how to use the glue stick (instead of glue) and then sprinkle old red cookies sprinkles on the top for the roof - she thought that was cool, until the dog tried to lick it off! 
So far, we have 3 houses and one building. We still have alot of boxes left, so I think we will have a whole mega city by the time we are done!
