JODHPUR (AFP) - The future of a 12-day-old baby girl born to an Indian surrogate mother hung in legal limbo Wednesday after the Japanese couple who planned to take her home divorced.

That poor baby! Stuck in an orphanage when she has a doting daddy. I hope the daddy and his family can get her to Japan quickly. It sounds like she has a wonderful family waiting for her there - not to mention superior medical services and all the luxuries of a first world country.

That's horrible! He is the biological father, so why are they saying he has to adopt her? That' poor little girl has a loving family just waiting for her and the government is interfering - it's a shame!
