I can't believe we are already a week into August! Time flies! The summer is almost over and I haven't even started bts shopping.

When does school start for your kids?

Emily goes to a private school, so she starts August 18, which is later, believe it or not, than the public schools here. Most all of the public schools here started this week or will start on Monday.

Austin starts the day after labor day, which I think this year is September 2nd or 3rd

They start here the 13th or 14th, depending on what district they're in. We're right between two of them.

August 25th. I wish it were after Labor Day so they could have a little longer summer.

I go back Sept 2nd. Kids start the 3rd. Zach goes back Sept. 4th (preK and K start a day later so they have a shorter first week). Starting the 18th I'll be in my classroom everyday setting it up though. I have alot of stuff to get done.

My girls start on the 19th, the public schools start on Monday.

We start the 28th.

We go on the 20th to get Drew's schedule (1pm) then to find out who Ally's teacher is (4pm). Then the 21st we have "Meet the Teacher" at the elementary school.

The next few weeks are going to be busy.
