BEIJING (AP)—Just nine months before the Beijing Olympics, the Chinese government’s news agency, Xinhua, reported that gymnast He Kexin was 13, which would have made her ineligible to be on the team that won a gold medal this week.

Yeah, the Chinese government is acting very suspiously. I know they want to prove they are a first world country and they are putting on a fabulous show. It's just sad they think they have to lie to win. I'm sure they have other athletes who are just as talented and definitely within the age requirements.

Note on our team: They may not have come in first place, but they are first class. WTG on showing good sportsmanship ladies!

TOT: Absolutely gorgeous costumes on the Chinese gymnastic teams. Whomever designed them deserves a medal themselves.

I have no doubt that at least 2 of the 6 on the Chinese team are under age. I watched them compete - they are tiny. Not tiny as in small in stature, but tiny as in too young. But there is no way to prove it.
