BEIJING, Aug 14 (Reuters) - Swedish wrestler Ara Abrahamian threw down his greco-roman bronze medal in protest on Thursday after his bid for Olympic gold was ended by a decision denounced by the Swedish coach as “politics.”

What a poor sport! Thank goodness he wasn't American. I could care less if we win or loose as long as we win or loose like ladies and gentlemen. He disgraced his country with his bad behavior. That was not showing what is best in Sweden.

I agree. I also think they should take back his Bronze and give it to the next person. If he can't appriciate it, give it to someone that would!!

They aren't really giving you the whole story in that article. 90% of the wrestlers expected to make it to the finals didn't. The majority of teams have complained. Even the world chapmion didn't make ir, nor did any of the winners of the Athens 2004 Olympics. Yes, he shouldn't have thrown down his nedal, that was poor sportsmanship. But something is seriously wrong with the wrestling program this year and they way they are scoring. We are going to hear more about this - just wait.
