How do you handle potty training when you are not at home? We have not delved into that area yet.

Re: Potty Training on the Road

We carried lots of toilet seat covers with us, and we also invested in portable potty seats, which are basically kid sized potty seats that fit inside regular toilet seats. We got ours at Big Lots, but I have seen them at Wal Mart and Toys R Us. They cost about $10.

Re: Potty Training on the Road

We got rid of our potty chair today and are using one of those sets exclusively now.

The sound of public tiolets flushing really bothers Kate. In fact, she is afraid of using public tiolets because of the noise. Any suggestions, Tammy?

I think this is pretty common. I know my nephew was the same way. When I hear from my sister (she's on vacation right now in Utah) I will ask her what she did to help get Andrew over that fear.
