My 6 year old has spent his life entire being cared for by my mom his grandmother during the day. He finally broke down last night and cried so hard he had a headache. My poor baby I felt his sorrow, I cried with him. I was very close to my grandmother at his age as well therefore I understand. I held in my arms and comforted him. I informed him that it's okay to cry and talk about his feelings. I had been trying since the trauma to get him to talk but it had to be on his own time.

Aww, poor baby! I'm glad you were able to comfort him. Now that he has talked to you about it, maybe it will be easier for him to comtinue talking.
