Well I was at the DR's office on April 17th and nothing was going on. The Doc scheduled me back on on my due date of April 24th for another check and an ultrasound, still nothing happening, and everything looked good from the inside. Doc said it would be another two weeks or so, and I would be miserable (already was by the time, but thats another story lol).
So I went to work after the appointment, told the guys that nothing is going to happen today. They said if I went into labor at work, I would be in trouble with only working with five men lol.
Went home that night, cooked dinner, was hoping for some contractions but nothing. Being as big as I was I could not get comforatble to sleep, so needless to say I had none that night.
The next moring, April 25th. got up at 7am laid around until about 7:30 bc I was exausted from no sleep. I was getting dressed around 7:45 and had to go poo, went, thought I felt something pass, but saw nothing. We back into the bedroom to finsh getting dressed, and felt a went sensation. Went back into the bathroom and wiped some brownish fluid. But I felt no contractions, thought I was just peeing myself with a little bit of blood, thought nothing of it since it was normal around this time.
I was walking out the door to come to work and felt another gush (I had put a pad on incase it happened again). Right then I knew something had to be happening (BTW this was my first child).
On my way into town(I live 20mins away from the city) I started feeling some cramping about every 15mins, but nothing bad. I called a friend of mine that lives in town that is a nurse. I asked if I could go there until my Doc office opened up to find out what I should do from there. She of course said yes, and told me to call the office's anwsering service though.
I called and the office was open, they told me to come in and get checked. I walked in, and they immedately took me back, and Doc checked me and called to the hospital (witch was next door) and said I would be coming over.
Got there checked in, the nurse came in and checked me and said officially that my water did break and I was .5cm and having very strong contractions (witch felt like nothing honestly, my mother nature cramps was worse then labor cramps). That was at 10am.
At 10:30 my Doc came in to check himself and as he was pulling back out I felt a hugh gush of water, and he said "I seen green" Logan had a bowel movement un the uterus. He came back in and said if I wated a natural birth then I could have one, but he thought it would be better to have a C-Section. I was very terrified bc I did not want a spinal!! but for my childs sake I went with a C-Section and hoped for the best that I would not be harmed by the spinal. That was at 11am.
The spinal was NOTHING! it was a BREZE ladies please do not be worried about this if you need one or are thinking about getting one, GET IT!! lol
The ladies laied me down, the doc came in and started cutting, I felt wonderful!! lol I actually feel asleep during the process until Logan arrived at 12:46pm.
I was in labor for a total of 4 hours and 46mins, with no complaints. I had a little bit of discomfort for a ltitle bit, but recovered very quickly.
