WASHINGTON - The tropics seem to be going crazy what with the remnants of Gustav, the new threat from Hanna, a strengthening Ike and newcomer Josephine. Get used to it.

I'm wondering how far down the name list we'll get this year. There have been so many storms already and so close together. I hope everyone stays safe through this hurricane season.

People say global warming is not real, but the weather sure doesn't bare out that theory. There was a freak ice storm in Kenya today.

Every hundred years or so, the weather gets freaky. I thinks it's Mother Nature's way of evening things out. Also, this isn't the first time we've had several hurricanes brewing at once. It happens all the time. It's just unusual to have them back to back to back in the same place.
