Want to Help a Soldier?

Hey Guys... Well as our guys get ready to come home we need some help. The guys that live in the barracks are yet again coming home to empty rooms. They have bare mattresses on their beds, no bedding, no toiletries etc... The army doesn't issue these things. They have their own, but it's in storage so not there for the beds they day the planes land.
If anyone is interested in donating twin sheets, blankets (Homemade fleece ones are fine) or toiletry items for the soldiers rooms let me know. I will get you an address to mail it to.
Time is short... We need to have the rooms ready by mid October, but any help at all would be appreciated.

Re: Want to Help a Soldier?

Heather, send me the info. I'll send what I can! Can we send used sheets that are clean and in good condition, or do they have to be new?

Re: Want to Help a Soldier?

I think used but good condition should be fine... Just remember that they are guys so no strawberry shortcakes Sammie wanted to donate her sheets. I think the point is just to have something on their beds so they can sleep that first night or two without having to go to the store and buy some

Re: Want to Help a Soldier?

Hi Heather. I would like to help if I can. Please send me the address. How long does it take to ship things from the states to Germany?

I'd be happy to help, too - just let me know where to send things.

Re: Want to Help a Soldier?

Heather, I'd sure like tohelp out! Not sure if I have any sheets - I'll look, but we just cleaned out the linen closet a few months ago. However, I KNOW I have tons of toiletries. Can you get me a list of what they need? Then just send me an address and I can get it out later this month.
