Obama unveils new jobs ideas

Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) on Monday released his Economic Rescue Plan for The Middle Class, described by the campaign as "a comprehensive four-part plan to deal with the immediate crisis that builds on proposals he has previously announced and includes several major new ideas."

I think y'all will like the details of the plan. Unemployment is not going to be extended, just not taxed.

It really isn't a smart thing to draw from retirement..whether being taxed or not. Some people might do that now and regret it later.

I agree Cheryl. The first thing I thought of was that doing that is like robbing Peter to pay Paul. How is that going to fix anything?
And a tax credit for firms that create new jobs for Americans sounds great, but someone is going to pay those taxes, hmm, wonder who?
I don't agree with his policies. I especially don't like his idea of imposing an additional income tax on people who make more than $250,000 a year. That is crap! And NO, my husband and I definitely do not fall into that category. I just don't think it's right.

Some of his ideas do have merit, but I still don't trust him. The man simply has no experience in the political arena on the national or international level. Having him as president scares me.
