Thinking about Christmas already

My mom picked up a nice play kitchen that I'm considering stashing away for a few months to give Brenna for Christmas ... it's basically the one I wanted ... wood and can sit flat against a wall BUT it has Disney princesses on it which is NOT what I wanted.
And I think Haley is going to get a new digital camera but I have no ideas for Zach yet.

Is anyone else coming up with ideas or even shopping yet?

Kate wants a "spider" robot by Wow Wee Toys. I don't know what Cara wants. Right now, I'm wondering how we are even going to pay for Christmas.

Me too! I'm going to be signing up for Toys for Tots though ... I don't know how they will do it this year but last year I got store vouchers and could go pick out my own gifts. I ended up paying for each child's big gift and then could use the vouchers for extras like movies they wanted, a few toys for each of the little kids, and makeup and clothes for Haley. Of course the store that accepted the vouchers has since closed down sooo... leaves me wondering what it will be this year.

Thinking about Christmas but haven't bought any presents yet. We did take the kids to the toy store this weekend to get ideas and now I'm excited about shopping. I'm just hoping there will be some good sales.

I started thinking, but with the way both of the boys have been acting over the last few weeks, I don't think Christmas is going to be very big this year.

I have been thinking about Christmas since Logan was born in April! lol I am so excited to see him playing with the wrapping paper and the things that he gets. However I'm not really sure what to get him, I have thought about the basics because he really don't need anything. I have a friend that has two boys, so everything that they have had is now Logan's.

So he has a jumparoo, exersauser, etc. So all the big toys that he could play with are covered already. My husband on the other hand is still working on his Christmas list, he will have that done about a week befire Christmas.

We only buy for us, Logan, and our nices and nephew. If we buy for everyone we would be spending anywhere between $700-$1000 and that is just not in our budget. If they don't understand and accept that Christmas isn't really about presents, oh well.

I have not only thougth about it, I have already started. My neices and nephews are DONE and have been for quite a few months. Found a funnel cake thingy that we picked up for Drew - he adores the stuff , plus he likes to cook. Just ordered Ally a $100 V-Tech gaming system that I found online for $20. Putting that away for her birthday Jan 3rd. They are both getting bikes from Santa, so I have been pricing them.
