Scout check in

Just curious to see who all has kids in Scouts. I just registered Kate and myself yesterday. I volunteered to be an assistant leader. I hope I haven't bitten off too much for myself. I didn't know volunteers had to register and pay too. There's a lot of paperwork to scouting.

Re: Scout check in

In the process of making the necessary calls and filling out the paperwork for my oldest two. I'll be my DD's co-troop leader as there are more girls that want to be in scouts than there are troops for them to be in. I was never in scouts but have heard good things so I'm looking forward to it! No one told me that I'd have to join and pay as well. Just another expense to do something for our kids.

I have two nephews that earned their Eagle Scout over the past two years and so my DS is striving for that. We'll see what wins out, sports (which he is very passionate about) or scouts.

Re: Scout check in

Drew was in cub scouts for 1 year and didn't like it, so he dropped it. Ally is intersted, but they don't have enough girls to make up another troop yet. They are supposed to contact me when they do.
