I have a bully!

Uggh....I have a bully. My little Kelsey got in trouble for hitting someone! I asked Kel what would possess her and she said,. But Mama that girl stole my Hannah Montana pencil without asking.

My sweet little girl is going to have no friends cause she is mean! I'd like to say I was shocked but I wasn't because she is very impulsive.

Am I the only one with a little bully.

Re: I have a bully!

Awww.... I doubt she's a little bully. IMHO, it sounds like she was getting her things back by a non-so popular route. I guess that all you can do is keep redirecting her and talking to her. I had the hardest time with Lauren wanting to dart away from me across parking lots for school and errands. It seemed like it wouldn't click, but I kept on her, kept talking, restructuring the point and pretty much bombarding her with not going across a parking lot without Mommy or Daddy or she could get hurt..... well, you KWIM.

Good luck. It's bloody frustrating.

Re: I have a bully!

She's already said who the little bully is in her class and he has targetted Kelsey twice to the point where they've filled out accident reports because of it.

I'm not sure what her thought process at the time was. I'm sure when her teacher talked to her and she lost a link(they get 26 a week and bad behavior gets them deducted), she probably cried. And honestly, I would be happy if she did cry.

She said the little girl got in trouble too...lol.

We did have a big talk and we had to punish her by taking a few things away. Nothing major but we don't want her to get away with these things

I don't blame you. I wouldn't let Lauren get away with it either.

Re: I have a bully!

It started in Kindergarten with Haley ... she was just really bossy (still is with her friends) and got in trouble once for punching a kid in the stomach after he stepped on her foot.

I won't go into it, but been there. Done that. Keep working with her. It sounds like a one time thing for a reason not an aribitary, unmotivated act.

Re: I have a bully!

Ally was (and is) the same way. She is bossy and thinks everyone should do things her way. If they don't, she gets nasty (mouthy) or whines. You just have to keep at them.
