My old boss once said "eating liver is like eating the oil filter out of your car." I agree. As far as I am concerned they can grind all that up for cat food.

My DH loves it. He also likes beef heart. The thought of both makes me gag. Yuck!

Can't stand the stuff! Even the smell is enough to make me start running fot the nearest toilet! I'm the only one in my family who won't eat it. Mom used tomake me PB&J sandwiches and put them in the livingroom when she was making liver and onions. I couldn't even be in the same room when the family ate it!

I didn't vote as I've never tried beef liver, I've eaten Lamb's Fry which is what the Mum's call sheep liver so us kids don't catch on

that I like but only in NZ, here in Oz they are too 'soggy'

amd I love pate and thats made out of liver

And as for the question, if it tastes like lambs fry in NZ, then yes I would love it.

You cook it up with onions and bacon and gravy

Now quit gagging you lot

Maree, yours sounds just like ours. Liver and onions is normally made with beef, but can be made with lamb (but that is much more expensive over here).

I won't eat ANY organ meat. It's too rich and the taste makes me want to...... well, you know. Don't like pate, no matter what kind it is. The most popular over here is goose liver pate and it's just as bad as the rest, if youask me. But of course you didn't!
