I know things can get stressful, but there is NO excuse for that. Period. They should have had a replacement aid that day and there needs to be more training for drivers of special needs kids.

no matter how bad things got on my bus I would never ever in a million years would have ever thought about even touching one of the kids on my bus.

I don't care if the child's special ed - choking a child on your bus should mean IMMEDIATE termination. The sad thing is, becuase this poor child is spec ed, he probably didn't realize he should have told his parents. And thus, why the news people informed them NINE MONTHS afterwards.

No kidding. I think it should have resulted in immediate termination and prosecution.
