Handprint Turkey

I was able to do this with my 22 month old. I did all the cutting and she did a lot of the gluing (with a glue stick).

That's cute!

Another cute handprint turkey idea is one my older kids have done at preschool and the library (so I have two for each of them). They traced their hand and made it look like a turkey (drew feet on the bottom, eyes and beak on the thumb and colored the fingers) and then this poem was attached:

This isn't just a turkey as you can plainly see.
I made it with my hand which is a part of me.
It comes with lots of love especially to say,
I hope you have a very, Happy Thanksgiving Day!


Their teachers/librarian laminated it and we use them on Thanksgiving as placemats. I love them! I'm hoping the librarian does them this week at storytime so I can have turkey handprint placemats for my youngest two.
