Nicks parent teacher interview

Thread Starter
We had his first interview with his teacher. She said that she has noticed that he fidgits a lot in class if he needs to sit still (like at carpet time). If he is at a station where he can play then he does well....he also avoids eye contact when he is being spoken to. She has noticed this over the last couple of weeks.

At the same time we have noticed that he is being more distructive at home. (damaging Jerrys truck, my car, throwing things, ripping things). He has not been listening to us at all. Yells at us for everything. He even avoids eye contact with us if we need to discipline him or talk to him about his behaviour. Even our dayhome has noticed that he has not been his normal happy go lucky self lately. This has all been within the last few weeks, but no one can seem to pin point if anything has happened to him to have him act this way.

We told his teacher that we were going to do a bit of digging to see if we can find out anything, but so far have had no luck. We are going to keep her updated in everything.

I am worried. I know we have had issues in the past with Nick, but normally it was only directed towards Jerry and I, and it has never been as bad as it is now I don't know what to do.......I guess our next logical step would be to talk with our Dr about his behaviour

it is really too bad the bridges program couldn't keep running eh?

i hope you can come up with a solution

Logan has been acting out much more than usual since starting K as well. i think they pick up a ton of behaviour at school.

Re: Nicks parent teacher interview

It may be he is just getting more comfortable with these people and letting it all hang out. I have been there with behavior problems if you want to talk.
