I'm getting a complex

So, logan is a super talkative super friendly kid. All adults just love him. But at school i am starting to get a complex. he hasn't made a 'friend' yet. not one that he can't wait to see or that he wants to see outside of school. Maybe he doesn't realize that he can have 'playdates' with his school mates yet.

Tomorrow makes the second birthday party that he isn't invited to. Dh laughed at me when i expressed my worry. but it bothers me that Logan isn't being included in the parties and that he isn't bonding with his classmates.

This is just me, Logan is oblivious he loves school and everyone in it. just not one special person

I guess I wouldn't worry. If he doesn't care and still loves school.

You could have one like me who is invited to tons of parties and is friends with everyone! I'm surprised she hasn't gotten in trouble with all her chatting yet.

Re: I'm getting a complex

At My kids old school, they had it so that either everyone was invited to a party or only girls or only boys, if not, they were not allowed to give out invitations. Wish it was that way at the school they are in now. Even now though, VERY few kids show up at those birthday parties. We had one last year when Duncan was the only party guest. For Ian's party, he only had three guests.

it's hard when your kids don't get invited to stuff.

I wouldn't worry about it. If it doesn't bother him, then just think of the money you are saving not having to buy gifts! LOL!
