Best morning sickness solutions?

What were your best morning sickness solutions? How did you cope?

I have probably 5 friends who are preggo right now and most are all terribly sick with morning sickness. I had it really bad with Emily and was prescribed a nasty fluid solution to take but could never get it down it was so gross. Of course we have all heard the normal standbys...crackers, frequent small meals etc. But was there anything that you have found really worked for you?

I drank green tea when I was preggers with Nick. It really helped with the nausea....peppermint tea also is good

Re: Best morning sickness solutions?

I found these suckers called Preggie Pops. They worked out awesome! They are very tasty and handy. Since I had them they have come out with drops, that are just like a small hard candy that you can just suck on all day.

I also used them while I was in labor for the short period that it was and they helped a lot then to.

here is a link to them

I found mine at Babies R Us in Columbus OH. (not sure where you are from)

I hope this helps.

Re: Best morning sickness solutions?

Congratulations, You're PREGNANT! Welcome to a wonderful and exciting time full of changes, hopes, dreams, and if you are like most... the dreaded morning sickness.
Eating something bland, such as crackers, 20 to 30 minutes before you get out of bed may alleviate morning nausea.
Good Luck..!!!

Peppermints, the pink ones, always made me feel a bit better.

Anything peppermint will help. It's proven to calm down a nausus stomach. Even preggers, you can suck on peppermints all day, no problem.

Try taking something sour like sucking lemon, actually its my personal favourite. So dont try it, sometimes it may lead to acidity.

For some pregnant women, the symptoms are worst in the morning and ease up over the course of the day, but they can strike at any time and, for most women, last all day long. The intensity of symptoms can vary from woman to woman, too. Thanks for sharing.
