Pre-lit artificial tree.
We used to have a real tree at Christmas, but it got to the point that we had a hard time finding a decent one, so we just gave up and bought a fake one.

Since it's just going to be the three of us this year, we've opted to use our 'electric tree' - an artificial tree with fiber-optic lighting.

Last year we had my mom our from Cali, and my sister + family up from Southern VA, so we got a real tree.

Real here. Shane and I made it a tradition the year I moved in with him that we would go the first saturday of Dec and get our tree from a tree farm. Were lucky, the tree farm that we deal with has a wonderful selection and really takes care of their trees.

Real--not potted. Den always had a real one and I always had artificial so we just kept den's tradition and got artificial....although Kel is wishing we'd switch...she wants the tree up NOW!(this weekend)

We have an artificail one because I am allergic to pine. I need to buy a new one, so I am on the look out for a pre-lit tree to go on sale!

Hey, check out Linens 'n' Things, if you still have one near you. Since they're going out of business, everything is heavily discounted, and they actually have Christmas stuff in, too.

We have an artificial one... some years (when we were in WA) we have gone to a tree farm with the kids, they loved it. Right now though it's easier to just use the artificial tree
