Preclampsia?

Is it even possible to have preclampsia during your first trimester? All my bloodwork and tests that I have taken are leaning towards it but I didn't think that you could even have it until later in your pregnancy? I haven't been diagnosed with it yet-I am having yet MORE tests run this week to rule out other things but I just wanted to check.
Also, while I have your attention-
Anyone have protein in their urine from day one? I have taken meds for a bladder infection but still have protein which supposedly means something wrong with my kidneys, right? Lord, it just seems like this pregnancy is gonna be FULL of trouble right from the start!

It's usually seen in mid to late pregnancy.......

I haven't had it early - but the last month I have had protein in myurine. The firs time they chalked it up to not eating/drinking a whole lot before my apt. And this time they chalked it up to the fact I had been 2 days earlier. (and since i have no other symptoms they were ok with letting me go)

Well, I went back to the site and read everything. It can happen early and I have lots of the symptoms. I just hope that I don't have it cuz i really can't afford to be on bedrest with this baby AND I worry about the little peanut having problems-especially this early on.
I had preclampsia with Zach but none of the other Johnson children. But I read that new husbands etc first babies are at higher risk for preclampsia as well. We shall see....

I know you can have pregnancy induced hypertension, but I don't think they call it preeclampsia that early. I have chronic hypertension. I am praying for you honey!

Weird... I wonder why you have protein still. Just ask your doctor what is up.

I have some protein in my urine but I have a blood disorder that goes along with it. Did you call your dr to see what he/she has to say about it?
