I'll be darned...

...if all these pregnancies aren't giving me baby fever. Would someone please . I just got done explaining why there should be no more babies for me in another post and then Shona goes and gets a girl and now I want (another) one. Darn, darn, darn. I'd have another boy and after that I might as well try for another girl at that point, right?

If I even mention this to Mike he'll flip out. He can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Noah will be 3 in May and toilet trained and out of daycare...see I'm talking myself down. I need to go take a pill.

Baby fever! I didn't want a kid until I was at LEAST 28....yea that didn't work so well.

Re: I'll be darned...

Thanks for the help Lisa! I was paying over $550 a WEEK when both of mine were in daycare part time! Now I only have one in part time and I still pay $222 a week. But they sure are cute!

LOL Grace. I think I'll still with a seditive for now. That and a husband who would be against the idea. We gave all our baby stuff away anyway and I am 33 already.

Re: I'll be darned...

I'm 33 and my oldest will be nearly 14 when this one is born! I definitely think that there is a baby boom going on!

Re: I'll be darned...

PUHLEAAAASE! I was 33 when I had Emily and 36 when I had Travis--turned 37 two months later! So, Abby, don't let your age be the factor.
I only had baby fever when we tried to get pregnant and went through fertility to have Emily. I am pretty sure everyone here knows Travis was a surprise, a good one, but still a surprise since my doctor had told me that we could not get pregnant without fertility treatments.

Re: I'll be darned...

I was 35 when Ally was born, so that's not an excuse. if you really think you wat one, then sit down and discuss it with him. You may find it's just a passing feeling. I get a regular baby fix from my friend Tisha's little one, Bryce, who will be 1 jan 24th. That usually takes care of it.

Re: I'll be darned...

Yeah, maybe I should just go write nxt week's daycare check. That should do it.

Re: I'll be darned...

I for one will not try to talk you out of it. 3 is a great number, I think. I currently hope to have 3 but then again - I am still pregnant with my first so I don't really know!

Re: I'll be darned...

Coming from someone who has no children and can not have children and use to have baby fever (and every once in a while still does) if you and your hubby can handle another child then I encourage you to do so.

Oddly enough, ever since my endometrial ablation and my husband's vasectomy my baby fever isn't as bad (seems it would be worse now that we definitely can not have them). I'm 38 and if nothing was stopping me from having children my age would not stop me.

Go over pros and cons and if you lean towards the pros of you trying for another child then go for it!!

Re: I'll be darned...

Yeah.. I'm feeling the fever.

I couldn't afford another baby at ALL!
I'm still young though, so the option is still there if we ever feel the need to have another baby (28 this year). ALthough I don't really want my kids spaced out too much. I'm fairly sure I'm done.

New babies are just so beautiful, and cuddly.. ahhh.. falling in love all over again with a new baby is amazing.
