BBB warns of acai berry weight-loss scam

There must be a trigger in the human brain that short-circuits when we see the word 'Free'. The latest companies to make use of this fault to scam innocent, overweight consumers are Central Coast Nutraceuticals and FX Supplements.

This is not about the actuall berry but rather the companies scamming people into "free samples" and then charging them massive recurring amounts.

Yeah, I was going to try two weeks of one of those "free" acai berry weight loss products, when I googled it and found out only the first two weeks are free and like it or not, you're enrolled in a monthly "plan" that is far from cheap.

It seems to be everywhere Kim ... I can't get online without being assaulted by the acai berry "free" trials.
