I can't believe this hat is such a big deal. Here's a good look at the hat everyone's buzzing about:

The hat does remind me of the Queen of England. Approriate for the Queen of Soul. Mostly, I thought, "I'll bet she has a warm head." It looks freaking cold in those pics! Good for you Aretha for being stylish and having a warm head. There were probably a lot of other women there who would have fought her for it.

Oh, it was VERY cold here. I remember hearing something about mid-20's, with a wind-chill of mid-teens at some point in the morning.

Now don't get me started on Michelle Obama's outfit... mustard yellow with green gloves??????

That's that style that we can't afford. Actually, I thought they looked nice. I don't expect a lot out of First Ladies.

That hat is terrible. But it does look like something th Queen would wear.

I really like Michelle Obama's style, shes very classic. We're kind of used to old lady dresses, or Hilary Clinton and her man suits. Although, I didn't care for the color of that dress yesterday either.
