Is it good or something I should skip?

Den and I are going out tonight and we thought we'd try a movie which we haven't seen in ages!

Are there any decent ones out right now?

Re: Has anyone seen My Bloody Valentine 3D

I haven't seen it and if it wasn't 3D I would just wait and watch it on watch-movies.net. The Unborn isn't that bad, kinda slow. Depends on what you are into. So many horror films right now are all J-horrors. American remakes of Japanese Horror movies. Such as.. The Ring, The Grudge, The Boogyman, Shutter, The Unborn, The Uninvited...

Oh the Unborn looked kinda...freaky. I can't watch the Ring, I had nightmares for like 3 months straight about 4 years ago after I watched it!

Re: Has anyone seen My Bloody Valentine 3D

I'm not into horror movies. These days they are all just blood and guts. The plotline is stupid, if not non-existant. Just not worth it in my opinion. I want more real suspense type horror, not seeing people chopped up.

J-Horrors are more.. suspensful and less Gore. Now, I wouldn't watch Saw. I had to sit through Saw II ( I think ) And I HATED it. I am not into blood and gore. I like something that.. make me afraid to walk down the hall alone LOL. Not stuff that makes me wanna puke.

Re: Has anyone seen My Bloody Valentine 3D

We watched it without 3d....our biggest theater around didn't have the projector for the movie so next time we will be going to Tinseltown in Erie to see a 3d movie (they said there'd be lots out this year in 3D.

It was a decent movie without 3D and you were left wondering who the killer is the whole way through the movie and BTW--I guessed wrong because at every turn I was so dang confused. But you could most definitely tell where the 3D scenes would have had a huge difference in the film.

Shona,

The newest texas chainsaw massacre movie made me cover my eyes the whole way through. Those torture movies where I can picture it actually happening in real life, just make me cringe and close my eyes the whole way through.

BTW--there is a new Friday the 13th movie coming out next month that actually looks REALLY good--at least the preview did. But you know how that is...they pick the best scenes and show those and make it look good.

Re: Has anyone seen My Bloody Valentine 3D

I may have ot check out the newest TCM, I laughed through the first one.

I won't see Friday the 13th on principle. NO move should EVER have that many sequels LOL.

They have so many Texas Chainsaw massacres and I was really worried about watching that one with Jessica Biel in it. I don't know why I just can't watch those torture movies.

I don't do scary movies. They give me nightmares so I just avoid them all together.

Re: Has anyone seen My Bloody Valentine 3D

I just realized there are 3 Boogeyman movies. The second one was just on SciFi and the third one just came out on DVD. The second one takes place in a psych ward and the third in a college dorm...I thought the 2nd one was stupid. And I didn't like the Grudge or the Ring...I just don't get the Ring. I didn't understand it...my brother was creeped out by it.

Re: Has anyone seen My Bloody Valentine 3D

A friend of mine went to see My Bloody Valentine 3D and she said her hands hurt afterwards from clenching her fists so tight during the movie.

I'm not into those types of movies. They are too gross and stressful to watch.

Re: Has anyone seen My Bloody Valentine 3D

I got the Ring, I didn't get the Grudge and I watched the American version and the original Japanese version. The Jap version was MUCH better, but still.. didn't quite make sense to me. I am very picky about the horror movies I like. Hated Blair Witch, now that one left me confused. I don't like movies where I at the end I am just sitting there going.."huh?"
