Holy crap!!

Eight little babies were delivered by C section last night/this morning. Baby H was a surprise to all there. All are off ventalation right now. The babies weigh between 1 lb 8 oz up to 3 lb something. Mom plans to breastfeed. Two girls and six boys.

Congrats to the whole family and kudos to the hospital team!!

I heard that on the news this morning.

Goodness...breastfeed all 8?? She's gonna be pumping and have someone attached to her all the time but good for her!!!

I know!

And the big baby is 3 pounds 4 ounces, which for a huge-number baby, sounds REALLY good.

wow! how great to have such a blessed surprise in the end. It will be amazing to follow this story and to see if she can actually nurse all 8 babies!

Wow! I didn't expect 30 weeks. That seems long for that many kids at once.

I think that is about normal. They shoot for that with that many babies. She went into the hospital @ 23 wks and stayed 7 wks when they were born.

That 3 pounder did awesome for having limited room.
