Anyone have BIG plans yet?

Set up for Valentine's day?

One of us normally end up working so all the teeny boppers can go out. This will hold especially true this year since it's on a Saturday.

We don't do anything. To Kev its a commercial holiday and so it's just another day. (we went out to dinner one year (I think it was either right b4 Lys was born or the year she was born) and it was a nightmare! NEVER again will I go during dinner.

This year I expect to be no different. The baby should be here (I'm being optimistic) so we will hopefully have a nice quiet evening in (as in the girls & I with their brother) Kev will most likely have to work. Alyssa will have dance in the morning so that will be an adventure and Sunday she sings in church so we will do that. Otherwise I can't imagine we will have any plans.

Re: Anyone have BIG plans yet?

That morning, Kyle and I are going to have our taxes done. We usually try to do something just the two of us on Valentine's Day, but honestly, it doesn't really matter to me. This year, though, Kyle and I are going to Las Vegas February 20 - 23, which means a long weekend just the two of us, so we are going to do a family night on Valentine's Day. And you know, that's fine with me. Emily's very excited about Valentine's Day, so she'll enjoy going out. We'll just go somewhere local that the kids like to eat, like a local pizza place or the place where we go to get hot wings.

Re: Anyone have BIG plans yet?

We are thinking about going to Cirque du Soleil the weekend before Valentine's day as our gift to one another. We've been wanting to go for over a year. Then Vday night we will prolly just go out to dinner or something.

Re: Anyone have BIG plans yet?

Well our baby is due on V-day....so unless he gets here late we probably won't be doing anything special...

Re: Anyone have BIG plans yet?

I'm not really into V-day. I don' like going out to dinner that night because all the restuarants are always packed and I HATE waiting!

We'll probably just stay home and do something fun with the girls.

Ricka nd Ihave plans to go to our favorite clubs. We are meeting some friends for drinks about 9. Taking the kids out to an early dinner (like 4 or 5) to celebrate with them, but they don't know it yet!

Re: Anyone have BIG plans yet?

Nothing which is ok with me. Kel is going to be away for her winter camp with her Daisy troop so we'll have Christian to keep occupied.

Nope, no small plans either, I'm afraid.

Re: Anyone have BIG plans yet?

I'll be on a plane to Florida with the kids and Mike is staying in CT for work. I'm not leaving until late afternoon and he's driving us to the airport. Very romantic. We're planning to go out to eat on Friday night, probably with the kids. They're excited about Valentine's Day--I could care less.

Re: Anyone have BIG plans yet?

I've never really been big on Valentine's Day and I'm pretty sure I work. It is however, a date night with Chad so I won't be alone ... I hope we can even find a place to have dinner. Hmmm...

Re: Anyone have BIG plans yet?

We don't know what we are doing yet. Been so much going on and had my mind on so many other things that I haven't even thought about it. I know only one thing so far and it is pretty obvious

It will depend on what we can afford to do.
