Re: Superbowl.....

Not having a party. Not really sure what we are doing. We don't do big Superbowl things since the girls (unless the Packers were to make it but I won't hold my breath on that anytime soon. )

Re: Superbowl.....

I think we are just watching it at home. I'm not really interested...my team didn't make it. So, dh will probably watch the game and the girls and I will be playing in one of their rooms!

It's not?

We're staying home. For dinner, I'm probably making plates of snacks, like I did for New Years. We had veggie sticks, shrimp, taquitos, brie & crackers, hot wings, and a bunch of other finger foods. All served on paper plates with plastic utensils - the only dishes I had to do was wash off some baking pans.

Re: Superbowl.....

See, Brenda.. ya need to hook up with someone who lives a little closer to that team... like, say, in Northern Virginia...

My Mom is a HUGE Steelers fan, and now she's got a great supply of stuff.

Re: Superbowl.....

We are having all kinds of wings, homemade fries, chips, pop and BEER! Yuengling to be exact...lol

Hey I'm an hour north of the burgh. We have Steelers stores all over the place. In fact, the closest Steelers store is 20 mins from me.

We will be decked out in in our black & gold. In fact, the kids have had black & gold day on Friday since before the playoffs and they decorated the pine tree outside to be the terrible tree just like the one downtown Pittsburgh has! So I gotta make sure their jerseys are clean!

Re: Superbowl.....

We'll be at church. We'll catch some of the game when we get home after evening service. Not a big deal for us...obviously ;-)

Re: Superbowl.....

We were suppose to go to a couple's house but something came up and they are unable to do anything this Sunday evening. So we are just going to enjoy the superbowl..just the two of us.

Hot Buffalo Wings
Ingredients:
For the dip:

Using a fryer or a large pot, heat oil to 350 degrees F.
Deep fry the wings until golden and crispy, approximately 10 minutes.

In a separate bowl, melt the butter, add the hot sauce and heat thoroughly.
Immediately toss hot wings into sauce.
Place wings on a platter and serve with creamy Roquefort dip.
