What do you do with the poop?

I'm at a loss...what do I do with all the dog poop that I pick up out of the backyard? What do you do with it??

Toss it in the neighbors yard? LOLOLOL


We have a garbage can for the poop in the backyard. Toss it in there and empty it after a week or 2

the MIL has this though, I want one!

That would be a good idea if I didn't like my neighbors!

Doesn't that stink? Do you use a liner in the garbage can?

We just put it in one of those walmart bags tie it up and toss it in the garbage bag which Den takes out that day. We take the garbage right to where Den works everyday so we don't have to hoard it for a week!

We use the giant black trash bags, and we put the garbage can on the side of the house so we can't see or smell it, and honestly it doesn't give off a horrible smell since by the time we take it out the poop is all dried and no longer stinky.

But we do have 2 dogs over 100 lbs in the back yard.

We have on yellow lab that is 2 years old. I don't know how much he weighs but he is HUGE...looks like a horse!

I was piling it all in one corner of our yard but dh complained about that. I've done the plastic bag thing, Wendy. I just thought there might be an easier way!

Yea we have 2 chihuahuas so that is super easy work ^_^ the cats are even easier

We had an underground thing called a Doggy Dooley. It worked at first but after awhile it didn't break up the poop and flush it anymore. It started attracting a lot of flies so we just got rid of it.

ewww I hate flies! uggg nasty little guys.

Hum...there has to be another way to get rid of doggie poop that is easier.

when you find a better way let me know....

i have tried using a five gallon pail with a lid then taking it to the dump when it is full, but it gets super stinky.

my cure?

not a kid friendly thing, but i let it biodegrade in the backyard all on its own, or con a neighborhood kid to pick it up once in a while.

I can't just leave it cuz the kids play back there. I'm not too fond of cleaning poopy shoes!

Get a cat! I know you can't because your dd is allergic to cats. Seriously, my dh cleans up all the cat poop. He complains, then I remind him who has cleaned up 99.999999% of the baby poop around here and that usually shuts him up!

We bag it in a grocery bag and toss it in the outside can. Not really a whole lot else you can do.
