Punxsutawney Phil sees shadow, winter to continue

PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. – The world's most famous groundhog saw his shadow Monday morning, predicting this already long winter will last for six more weeks.

I'm not surprised by the forecast. I am a bit surprised how the guy is holding onto Phil on his back like that. Poor ole Phil looks about upside down.

I HATE cold weather!! Good thing I live in the South where it's only cold about a month, then chilly for a month...the HOT HOT HOT again!

GRRR...I'm ready for winter to be on its merry way and for spring to make its entrance. How do they know the groundhog's sight is still good? Hmmm??? He's pretty ancient by now. Maybe he needs glasses? The result could be wrong...a false winter report.

I am so ready for spring! We had fun playing outside this weekend. IT was a whopping 30-40 outside.

Poor Phil.....he was awfully squirmy today.....betcha he wanted to get back to his toasty little home in the library...LOL

It looked like the guy was about to drop him. Next time, the guy will be holding onto Phil with both hands.
