Nortriptyline anyone???

Has anyone ever taken this anti-depressent before? Believe it or not I was given an RX for these meds for my neck pain. I'm thinking I can kill two birds with one stone. I am a pretty moody person...

WHen I worked in pharmacy, we had a lot of patients on it for many different reasons.

I myself have never taken it, but best of luck!!!

I've never heard of that one (but as I live in Australia our medications have a different name than the ones overseas do, more often than not.

My hubby was prescribed anti depressants for neck pain, apparently they also have a muscle relaxant in them.

Good luck I hope they do the trick for you

I have not heard of that one. I was on Lexapro for awhile, but just recently took myself off of it. Still don't know if that was the best decision.:shrug:

Many meds have more than one use. I used to take and anti-seizure medication (Trileptal) for mood swings! I ahve heard of it, bt dont' know anything about it. If it works tohelp with both, I say say great! 1 less pill to take!
