Contractions?

SOOOOO last night, I woke up at 2am because my stomach was hurting horribly bad, I woke the hubby up so he could rub my tummy because it was OMG... uggg.... ok then after about 20 min I went back to be only to be awaken AGAIN at 4am with the same cramping pains.... woke the hubby up again...

then at 6am...same tummy cramps...

called into work because I got no sleep.

OK so I spoke to Jordan this morning and he said last night when he was rubbing my stomach it wasn't tightening.

Can I still have contractions but my stomach not tighten up when I lay down?

I was changing positions but I still had the pain

Sorry if I don't make to much sense, I am super sick again and very very sleepy.

Re: Contractions?

It could be contractions especially this close to your due date. Have you talked to your dr? They may want to monitor you at labor and delivery. I hope you were planning on having a baby today! Good luck!

LOL I hope he comes today ^_^

I haven't talked to my doctor, bad thing is she is at BAMC and usually the call back time is 2 days... I dislike calling L&D but I might have to do that, I am gonna run a few errands today, like get my dang oil changed since I am about 3k over LOL

then go to my moms to eat some yummy korean food!

Re: Contractions?

Eat some for me, too! If you are in too much pain to drive, have your mom take you to the hospital. Those labor pains can really knock you off your feet.

Re: Contractions?

I was trying to think who is in your area...

Brenda is always home and she always answers her phone. She has a cell too. Unlike me, I never answer the phone.

Spaggie!!!

Yea my mom can't really drive since she is always sick and just started driving a few months ago ( hasn't driven b/c she had Breast Cancer and also a thyroid problem that makes her dizzy 24/7) Sooo it is hard to get her on a good day. Good note is my dad is home and we have family visiting so someone over there should be able to drive me if anything.

shooot I'll eat for all the girls on the board! Korean food is my addiction. It's like crack but safe LOL

Re: Contractions?

Girl, you better call me if you go to the hospital! We need to be kept up to date and I don't want all these ladies jumping on me if can't tell them anything!

Lenora is right, sounds like labor. If not today, tomorrow for sure. CALL THE DOCTOR!

Re: Contractions?

This is no time to show brave. If you need your dh or your dad drive you, then let them. Believe me, if they are anywhere in the realm of normal, they will want to. If you need an epidural, then go for it. This isn't an endurance contest.

OMG! I'm so excited! We haven't had a baby born in awhile.

Re: Contractions?

Grace is right. I was chewed out by my dr for driving while I was in labor no matter how good I felt at the time. He said the contractions can come in the blink of an eye and be so strong you think your insides are being ripped out of you (thoes were his words lol).

I was aginst an epidural, terrfied of needles and the thought of being paralized (I think the wost about somethings lol) I absoulty did not want it. I ended up having to have a C-Section so I obvioulsy had to have it.

My god girl I LOVED IT! lol I was so relaxed I feel asleep during the delivery of all times to fall asleep. I woke up about 15mins later and had pain in my chest and she says "I'll fix that" pulled out a needle and injected something into the needle in my wrist and it knocked me out again. I woke up right when Logan was delivered they took me back to my room, brought in the morphine drip thing, clicked it three times before they put the alloted dosage regulator on it and I was in absoult heven LOL!

Re: Contractions?

bah, Here I am, I stuffed my fat butt with tons of FOOD, my mom is sooo nice she had TONS of people over ( there was an RN there too LOL good thing!) She made me what I wanted to eat since everyone was eating something different but I craved something else. It was awesome, then the RN lady brought some oh so yummy rice cake that actually looked like a cake! Every time I go to my parents, I walk out with handfuls of food or random stuff. LOL I had my whole front seat full of new dishes and nifty things

Well, The contractions, are still comeing but not as bad as last night... what the poop. Jerren Does this to temp me... it is his.. SIKE! haha got ya!

Re: Contractions?

So I take it you never called L&D? By the way, exactly how far apart are these bad gas cramps?

Re: Contractions?

Girl that sounds like you are starting labor. Just keep an eye on things and see if you start to "leak" at all. If you do, then you want to go and get checked. In the meantime, if you can still function through the labor pains then you might as well be comfy and labor at home for a bit

Hey you can always see if a nice warm bath helps

Re: Contractions?

Well, no news is good news, I suppose. Guess Jerren has decided to stay for a while longer. I swear, he and Stewart are driving me batty! I'm ready for a new BU baby!
