My Jimmy, my buddy. His 1st quater report card for 1st grade was a mess! He's in a regular class room. We implemented an IEP for 2nd quater and I enrolled him into Sylvan Learning Center as well during that time. His 2nd quater report card is awesome! He's passing everything! including math!!!
He's been working so hard although his behaviour is a bear and I'm willing to deal with that as long as he is applying himself.
I'm also excited he's on a waiting list for an adaptive swim program. The teacher has a masters in special education and has been teaching special needs children to swin for 20years! I'm hoping this is his year to finally take the leap and learn to swim, he becomes extremely autistic around water and needs to be able to overcome his fear. Anyway my buddy he's doing so much better!!!
