Costco Diapers

Has anyone used these? I would like to do something good for the environment, ie chlorine free or cloth but the price on these is SO cheap! Are they any good?

lol - I just realized I was looking at the wipes and not the diapers - no wonder why they were SOOOOOO cheap!

Re: Costco Diapers

When DS was a baby, we ALWAYS used the Costco diapers. They were great. I didn't use their wipes, though - always bought the scent-free, dye-free ones at Target or Walmart.

My sister tried the Costco diapers with her daughter, and hated them, though. My suggestion is buy smaller packages of a couple of different brands, and maybe one box of Costco brand, and see what works best for you.

Re: Costco Diapers

we used to use them all the time and loved them. They were so much cheaper than pampers or huggies

Re: Costco Diapers

We loved them too. Problem is, we can't get newborns or size 1s at Costco here.

Re: Costco Diapers

Yes, we use the wipes and the dipes. I use BJ's brand also (depends where I go)--Berkley & Jensen. Both are more then $10 a box cheaper then Pampers and IMO just as good. I ONLY used pampers swadlers and cruisers with Zachariah when he an infant then a little older then figured, what am I crazy they are diapers that are being thrown out. These keep them just as dry and don't leak. We never have leaks as long as we use the right size. They also make unscented wipes.

Re: Costco Diapers

I found that the store brand diapers leaked. I used them when money was tight but only during the day. At night, they were a MESS!

Re: Costco Diapers

With my kiddos I ended up using Pampers cruisers just because they seemed to fit my kids better. The main reason was that my kiddos were/are both heavy wetters & they were/are dry one minute then soaked the next. I tried huggies, loves, wally world brand, etc. and none of them worked for mine.

My advice is to get the smallest package of all the brands you want to try & try em out. Then go with what works best. Another good idea.... don't buy a bunch of NB diapers. My kiddos started out wearing the 1's. Just a money saving thought....
But of course I didn't give birth to babies... mine were toddler size at birth!

Re: Costco Diapers

My nephew came home wearing newborns BUT only lasted 2 weeks. So if you get any NB as a shower gift, don't open unless you know you are going to use the whole pack. I believe you can take them back for an exchange....at least you could 8 years ago

Re: Costco Diapers

Mine wore newborns for awhile. But they were long and skinny. 21.5 inches and 5.5 lbs!
